Sometimes nature creates something so delicate it almost feels unreal — Angel Hair Frost, also known as Hair Ice. ❄️
Captured here in the Fraser Valley near Fort Langley, this rare phenomenon forms when very specific conditions come together: moisture in decaying wood, the presence of certain bacteria, and temperatures hovering just below freezing. Instead of forming solid ice, the water is pushed out into thousands of fine, silky strands that look like soft white hair resting gently on the forest floor.
